Rachel Notley

                                        Rachel Notley

Rachel Notley, was born in Edmonton, Alberta, April, 17th, 1964, and was Raised in Fairview. She is our 17th Premiere, and our current premiere. Rachel earned her law degree in, Osgoode Hall, law school, right after she finished her classes in the U of A. She has two siblings, named Paul and Stephen. Her father Grant led the Alberta new democrats from 1968-1984. Her parents are Sandy and Grant Notley. Rachel's mother had a very strong political influence on her, which helped her shape her social conscience and political views.

At the age of ten, Rachel became involved in social politics and activism.
