Chief Red Crow

My Canadian Historical Figure is Chief Red Crow. He was born in 1830 and died 1900. His adult name was Mekaisto. He was a warrior and peace maker. Born near the St Mary's and Old-man river. He was a powerful chief of blood. He was first in war as a teenager. Red Crow did not attach great significance to treaty 7.
Treaty 7 was an agreement between Queen Victoria and several, mainly Blackfoot
Red crow continued to battle with the Canadian bureaucrats after signing treaty 7. Her remained strong proponent of indigenous culture and beliefs.
