Irene Parlby
Irene was one of the Famous Five.She was born on January 9th 1868 in London England.Irene lived in India for half of her life.Irene came to Canada in 1896.She was the first female cabinet minister in Alberta and was in the cabinet until 1935.She was also president of the United Farm Women of Alberta, from 1916 to 1919,her political party was United Farms.In 1899 she gave birth to her son Humphery. Parlby was the last surviving member of the Famous Five.Passing at the age of 97.
